His enemies view him as a friendly, dimwit boy. I would bet they make fun of him behind his back.
I think in his mind he is being a good Christian. He has a perverted view of Christianity. On the other hand, he could be just evil, playing a part in a play where they give us the appearance we have a choice in voting. Maybe some of both.
Remember the media talking about Bush, his military service, his IQ, called him monkey many times over.
