*** Jeff Roe, told the Texas Tribune this week that he has an overall aversion to campaign yard signs because they’re ineffective. He said he prefers to spend money on other advertisements, such as direct mail, door knocking, phone banks and television ads.***
Jeff Roe must be a total moron.
In my town, reliably red, Beto signs are about 7-8 to each Cruz sign. People who were Republican voters have Beto signs in their yards.
The signs show consensus. It is ok to vote for the young guy.
As for print, radio, television, or direct mailers for Cruz..nada, zip, nothing.
That’s a concern if Republican voters are supporting O’Rourke.
I agree. Sounds like Jeff Row is an idiot. Not good.
“People who were Republican voters have Beto signs in their yards.”
That make no sense and could be an indication that something nefarious is happening, as there is no way that Texas Republicans would be supporting ORourke.
Quite likely, Democrats are secretly placing ORourke signs in the front yards of Republicans.
Maybe these Republicans do not realize that ORourke signs have been planted in their yards. I could very easily see Democrats putting their signs in yards of the elderly. They may never leave their house and would never notice an ORourke sign.
It would not be unwise when you see an ORourke sign in a Republican’s lawn to knock on their door to ask and make sure they know that an ORourke sign is in their yard.
This ain't beanbag.
