Meghan McCain took a number of swipes at President Trump on Saturday in a eulogy for her father John McCain -- who sparred with Trump on a number of occasions before his death last week of brain cancer.

'The America of John McCain has no need to be made great again because America was always great,' she said, in what appeared to a reference to Trump's presidential campaign slogan: "Make America Great Again."

She also said that her father's passing represented the passing of "American greatness. The real thing, not cheap rhetoric from men who will never come near the sacrifice he gave so willingly, nor the opportunistic appropriation of those who lived lives of comfort and privilege while he suffered and served."

McCain was being remembered at a memorial service in Washington National Cathedral, attended by former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush. Trump, a week after the Arizona Republican died at age 81 after a battle with brain cancer.

Hell, what a disappointment she has turned into. She’s displaying the same bitterness that infested McCain. That bitterness and hatred now has infused her soul also.

Hahaha she complained about rich people. McCain dumped his wife with cancer to marry her rich bitch mother’s Budweiser fortune. Where is McCain’s first wife and his kids with her in all this?

Cindy might be a nice person. She has done a lot of truly philanthropic work, not Clinton foundation type. As far as I know, she raised their children in Arizona, never moving to DC.

Speaking of children, are the three children from his first marriage there? From reports, one would think that he only had one child.

I don’t think many really know them here in Phoenix as they pretty much have kept to themselves.

This is an eye-opener for the citizens of AZ, I think.

You watch the eulogy of McLame to be a Trump-bashing party just like Urethra Franklin’s pathetic funeral. The fact that she said this indicates how she feels about probably the finest president we’ve had in over 100 years. She ought to be ashamed.

Never despair, history always was and still is a much better judge than the total of the LEFT news media. And only some very unusual people will be remembered long after they are gone for their achievements beyond the graveyard of history and I for one do not believe Mc Cain will be one of them.

On the other hand, and mark my words, I believe President Trump is raking up one achievement after another, all positive and beneficial to this Great Country what will be well remembered and recorded in the annals of history.

They are fools to even reference Trump.

Why would you make this day about Trump? It sounds bitter and jealous.

Was McCain’s life so little that his eulogizers must reference Trump? Only the mention of Trump gives it the stamp of necessary approval?

When people look back in history on these speeches, mentioning Trump will only feed the furnace of his colossal presence on the world stage, something they desperately do not want to do. Trump always wins

As for leaders who missed the Vietnam War, get in line starting with Bill Clinton, Joe Biden, Bill Bradley....

Scheduled GrudgeMatch I would pay good money to see:

Meghan "the Stupid" McCain versus Andrew "the even Stupider" Cuomo.

Both daughter and mother are pro baby killing, pro queer “marriage” supporting liberals. Exactly like their sorry ass father and husband. Most might not remember but when Trump was trying to get drag queens out of the military, closet democrat McCain tweeted, or he might have said it on the senate floor, that anyone who wanted to serve should be allowed, that excluding anyone for any reason was blatant discrimination. He acted and sounded like someone who had never served a day in uniform. Just your typical leftist parroting the democrat party line. McCain was truly one more more miserable SOB. Vets know the truth about that traitor. He’s a shorter version of his pal Kerry, but meaner. Just a sorry excuse of a human being.

It would be very interesting to have a count of the 2008 votes by all the people in attendance. Except for his family, we who voted for him because of Sarah in 2008 do not seem to be there.

I was wondering if the first Mrs. was in attendance.

All of his kids were there.

And all the homes Cindy and John McCain own. When he was asked in 2008 how many homes they have, he couldn't remember exactly. More than two for sure.

Meghan McCain revealed herself willing to dishonor her father's funeral for a political statement and reportedly did not shed a tear at the funeral. Not one. (I didn't watch the funeral, so I'm counting on reports of others)

Yeah McCain who dumped his first wife for an heiress and lived a life of luxury with like 12 houses.

Yeah, he was a POW but after that he lived a life of wealth and priviledge. His father got him out of so many things, he got a pass where others did not.

Doea Arizona have an open or semi-open primary? If so, perhaps that is part of the reason he kept getting the Republican nomination for Senator.
