“McCain’s death” coverage was no different than “putting ketchup on a $60 steak”.
“Trump Outrage” in the media is over the top. This week they chose McCain as the topic to attempt to express their outrage.
As much as they disliked McCain in the past (or pretended to when it served their purposes) he served a useful function for them now - just like Trump putting ketchup on steak.
McCain dislikes Trump for among other reasons Trump was able to win the presidency. McCain was not.
