Do you remember those ads that went somthing like “Saw you on the R train, our eyes met, I said hello and you laughed...”
Those things made me feel so sad but I always read all of them.
They were on the back page and I never missed them.
My favorite was “Will somebody tell Andy Rooney that it isn’t necessary to scream at waiters? We’re doing the best we can.”
