I know you probably didn’t mean to, but you insulted all the conservative women in my family. We all shoot, we all are willing to give our lives for what we believe in and there are plenty more like us. I cant see any of us saying the words you said would come out of our mouths. We would be too busy making sure the guns were loaded and the ammo was close enough to get to. Most of us are good shots, and willing to shoot at any threat to our homes and family.
Maybe you should have used the word ‘many’ or even ‘some’ in your description of conservative women. Not all of us are like those you seem to know.
I was delighted to hear of the conservative women in your family! God give us a million more. And I truly wish and hope that I am wrong about conservative women, and it certainly isn’t just women either.
There are a host of conservatives, men and women, who believe that they great calling is attacking other conservatives who do not vote for the “lesser of two evils” in the general election and “giving the seat to the Democrats.”
This type thread appears periodically on our forum. I usually interpret it as hyperbole. People are expressing strong feelings, but I do not see anyone ready to actually do what they say they would do. How do you see this actually happening?
