Dont know about NM. But if I were the judge, I’d give him a year in the local county jail under the Huber law and the max probation after. That way he can pay the going rate for staying each night at the “hotel” they got there.
In Wisconsin, its as much as 20 bucks a night in places-usually 15 a night.

I think justice would be well served by both sides if the following were allowed to occur. The prosecuting side should offer the case be dropped if: In the courtroom a stand-in for the teenager (biker, hard hat or another chosen by the teenager) ask that the event at the burger joint be re-enacted with Kino throwing a drink in the stand-in’s face and taking the MAGA hat.
