I can think of a dozen things you could send me to the best schools for and I'd never be able to compete with the guy/gal who just has a gift for it, love for it, etc.
Most kids who go to culinary school do so because they love cooking. I was an older person in a VERY young class (mostly 18 year olds) who were absolutely obsessed with food preparation. It’s all they thought about. I hope most of them know it is a difficult career choice.
