A nice reply by Gov. Ducey would be to appoint Dr. Kelli Ward or Gov. Palin to the seat.
Palin is a resident of Arizona now, isn’t she? She was the one person who made the difference between McCain running a respectable race and him barely clearing 120 electoral votes. And even leading, oh so briefly, in the polls until the September 2008 stock market crash.

It is my understanding Palin sold her house in Az sometime back, so it’s doubtful he would appoint her to serve until the election to serve his remaining term.
