Trump did not endorse McSally. McSally refused to endorse Trump and has indicated she may not have voted for him. She warmed to him when she became interested in replacing Flake. She’ll cool real fast if elected.
Better than the democrat. Like always, a choice between an establishment RINO and an establishment democrat freak. Our politics suck!
I don’t think Trump endorsed any candidate for the AZ senate run. Pence, however, endorsed McSally.
McSally is a poster girl for why conservatives should find and run DINOs in ‘Rat primaries. Why fight half a battle?
If you add together the two alternatives to McSally, their total was within striking distance of hers; She was widely expected to win, and that expectation may have suppressed turnout that might have gone for a more conservative alternative. Neither Ward or Arpaio seemed to be a particularly compelling candidate - but if one of them had stepped aside maybe the other might have won.
