Well the response in re: Germans is incorrect.
It is a Belgian company InBev that owns Anheuser-Busch/Budweiser, and a whole lot of other brands, maybe Beck. Perhaps that is the confusion. And Heineken.
The beer to buy is America’s oldest. Yuengling Lager... Awesome beer, esp with seafood or beef. Even their Black and Tan is as well.
PBR is great if cold enough. Blue Ribbon.
Yup! Broke my heart when they sold!!! But I don’t drink beer anyway. I cook with it! I love Pear Cider and many wines.
