I have no doubt this was meant as sarcasm.
Fact is, most of the common people of Mexico ARE “great, moral people”, as are those in Central America. Those seen most in the US and the media are corrupt politicians, drug traffickers, gang scumbags and illegal aliens. The majority of people south of the border are none of those.
A great majority of Latinos are NOT clamoring to get across the border into the US “Promised Land”. The majority also are not into dope, nor are they MS-13 gang members. They’re not much different from you or your neighbors; they work their butts off to survive and provide for their families, they have barbecues and a cold beer on holidays, they dance, watch futbol,they shop at supermarkets and convenience stores, and many attend Mass on Sundays. The stereotype is a media-created image which has little in common with reality.

It would be awesome if Trump helps Mexico be great again. It’s a beautiful country with a great history and culture. In a perfect world we would be terrific friends and neighbors.
Sadly their corrupt leaders messed Mexico up.
