The problem is that immigrants already here won’t work. Why should they? They get all kinds of welfare and live better than where they came from.
Cowgirl, I respectfully think you are generalizing. I personally know multiple Mexican immigrants(they all have green cards) that work hard, have jobs and pay their taxes. Hence, they came here legally.
Also, all the Asian immigrants I have ever met realize the incredible opportunity available in the US if you work hard and save your money.
The problem I see are the really poor uneducated underclass that are coming in illegally from various countries. Many already have criminal backrounds. This is why we need a wall. We already have an underclass of black people that are gaming the system and do not want to work.
