John McCain requested that former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush deliver eulogies at his funeral, CBS News has confirmed. McCain, who had been suffering from an aggressive form of brain cancer, died Saturday at the age of 81 at home in Arizona. Both Mr. Obama and Mr. Bush will deliver their remarks during a service at the National Cathedral.
Former Vice President Joe Biden will speak at a separate service honoring the senator in Arizona.

Ditto for the Bushes. Lest we forget, it was Karl Rove who delivered that infamous push poll on the eve of the South Carolina primary, asking voters if they would support McCain if they knew he fathered a black child. In reality, McCain and his wife adopted a baby from Bangladesh. But the poll helped turn the tide against McCain. Yet, in death, all is forgiven. Funny, but I don’t recall Bush 43 offering any high-level jobs to Johnny Mac; truth be told, much of the GOP-E disliked McCain as much as the “deplorables.”
If no one listens to the eulogy, did it ever happen?
Also McCain did not like President Reagan
That says it all!
He was such a vindictive little man I am just glad that he can do no more harm.
Just confirms my opinion of John McCain; and George Bush and Obama.

Trump will get over it.
McCain DIS-INVITED Trump from his own funeral months ago...yet FauxNews chief assclown Brit Hume is mad Trump doesn’t have any “kind words” for the S.O.B.
I knew good old VOX wouldn’t disappoint their readers..............
“Its one of the most important moments of McCains career. He proved willing to empower a demagogue when he thought doing so would improve his political fortunes, exactly the sin so many of his colleagues in the Republican Party have committed since Trump won their partys nomination.”
Garth sang about this “Friends in low places”
Humphrey asked Nixon to attend his, a big part of the Nixon rehabilitation. Humphrey did not invite Nixon AT anyone and was remarkably incapable of holding grudges.
