John McCain requested that former Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush deliver eulogies at his funeral, CBS News has confirmed. McCain, who had been suffering from an aggressive form of brain cancer, died Saturday at the age of 81 at home in Arizona. Both Mr. Obama and Mr. Bush will deliver their remarks during a service at the National Cathedral.
Former Vice President Joe Biden will speak at a separate service honoring the senator in Arizona.

IIRC McCain thought that it was “his turn” to be the Republican candidate in 2000 and was very angry that he was not. I do remember how he messed with the beginning of GWB’s administration, tying up the senate with the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance legislation. He let it be known that nothing else would get done until that was passed. It was later found to be unconstitutional, but the damage was done. I am stunned that he would ask Bush 2 to give a eulogy.

Trump would NOT have HONESTLY been able to say a good thing about this SOB, and I am quite sure Trump is EXTREMELY happy that he doesn’t have to go before a group of people with a bunch of BS about this prick!!!!
Today is the last day I am going to watch anything more about McCain. The last thing I want to hear is Obama and the Bush family is meaningless to me.
