Well, just as the NFL suddenly became heroes of the Left (rather than the villains of “rape culture”) by disrespecting the flag, so McCain went from a monster of the abyss in 2008, when he ran for President with Sarah Palin, to the Left’s most beloved “conservative” when he betrayed Donald Trump. I’ll say this: in the shark-infested waters of Washington DC, he was a survivor. He always knew when it was time to stick a knife in someone else and swim like hell.

English does not have the right phonemes to express my thoughts, so I will simplify: To my shame, I came to despise McCain. (It is shameful to despise any sentience, even those we must battle.) But I hope he found a way to God and His forgiveness. I also pray for his family.

John McCain was all the MSM’s favorite GOP member of Congress UNTIL he became the party’s presidential candidate, at which time they turned on him and mocked him and his running mate mercilessly. After his loss and return to the Senate, he was their buddy again and he did everything he could to please them and stay on their good side. Their obits are shameful (as was his media-pleasing behavior but we’ll save that for another day).
