You are right. More conservative voices (not just workers) are needed in the feature film business. And movies from a conservative or Christian perspective must be done well enough to succeed financially so that they are sustainable.
The Kendrick Brothers have been fairly successful, and now other mainstream Christian filmmakers have as well, but these films are also mostly preaching to the choir like you describe.

Good point... I agree with you. I like Dinesh's movies, but you're right: They pretty much only preach to the choir.
