Back in the 90’s, the Corporation I worked for had all us Management types go through Sexual Harassment Avoidance Training.
A Female Manager I worked with came out of that Training as paranoid as she could be. She was a lovely Woman and a tough as nails Manager, but she questioned any Physical Contact she ever had with anyone at Work.
Patting someone on the shoulder, giving a fellow Employee a hug on their Birthday, anything. Same Sex or Opposite Sex made no difference. Socializing and Personal Interaction with anyone at Work was deemed suspect in her mind.
The big part of the Training dealt with the fact that you as an Employee could be Sued Personally if you were accused of any unacceptable Behavior. (Unacceptable in the eyes of the beholder)
After that her entire disposition changed. Her paranoia changed her Management Style and not for the better. She went from being considered a tough but fair by the book Manager to being called a Bitch behind her back.

(The way Liberals carry on about Deportation, you would think "Mexico" was Spanish for "Auschwitz".)

It’s gotten completely out of hand. I mean, yeah, someone like Ben Affleck digitally penetrating someone, if true, of COURSE that is over the line. But grabbing someone’s butt just once? Unless a slew of women come forward and accuse him (truthfully), then, no. If these women didn’t complain at the time, tell him off, or slap him upside the head, forget it. (I’m talking about minor stuff like grabbing her butt). A guy at a party patted me on the head once; I was petite, and he thought I was cute. Maybe I should try to remember his name and go after him.
On the other hand, if I were on a bus, and some creep I didn’t know, came up behind me and grabbed my butt, yeah, he’s going to get reported in immediate, no uncertain terms. But that’s a bit different. That’s Stranger Danger.
