I guess this is not a great surprise. I'd have hardly expected Hawaii's senators to vote in favor of Kavanaugh's nomination.
I suppose the least she could have done is shown the courtesy due to a Supreme County nominee by at least holding her appointment with him.
Comments, opinions, snarky statements, etc - anyone?

Great! Gives Kavanaugh some free time in his schedule to pack or whatever he needs to do in prepping for moving into the supreme court chambers :)

I've set foot in Hawaii twice.Once was due to a problem with our aircraft and required an overnight stay. The other one,20+ years ago,was "intentional".
It was nice...I'm glad I did it.But I'll never do it again.Florida and the Caribbean are much closer, much cheaper and at least as nice.
And I have no use for macadamia nuts.Hawaii is on my official boycott list.

Not only does Hirano not matter, she just doesn’t matter.
Only a few Democrat votes are needed. They are already in the bag.
So, all she can really do is pretend to be relevant

In other truly surprising news, the Sun came up in the East this morning. Once upon a time, people would fall for these magic tricks, but Dan Rather has been retired for years and CNN now has lower ratings than “Pawn Stars”.

Maybe she thinks Hawaii could tip over like Guam.

Grandstanding for the TrumpDeranged Libs who make up the Democrat base in Hawaii.

Yeah. Because a “fair-minded” judge, would be someone who announced he was gunning for Trump, right Senator?
It’s not as if she was going to vote for him, anyway; she’s just using this opportunity to make a dig.

This woman is a complete idiot. They accuse others of judging a book by its cover and then do it themselves. What an ugly dunce.

She is just using the hurricane as an excuse not to meet him and thought she might get the formalities out of the way and declare up front she won’t support him.
