Ever watch The Dick Van Dyke Show? My folks used to put it on the TV for me when I was a kid. It was good comedy and harmless fun. What you may not have noticed about the show was the two main characters (a married couple) slept in SEPARATE beds in the same room.
Obviously not an accurate portrayal of most marriages, the exception being Anthony Weiners, but in the early 1960s anything more than that would have been deemed inappropriate for public consumption. When public views on morality started shifting later that decade and television shows started getting a little more risqué, there were immediate cries that this would be a slippery slope. There were concerns that allowing even the slightest moral degradation of Hollywood would inevitably end in Caligula-style debauchery. The people who warned of this slippery slope were laughed off. But today, Sex and the City plays on regular cable with brief interruptions so Cialis can run commercials. So, about that slippery slope

"Freedom is something tangible and it requires the cooperation of others. If others will not give you that cooperation, you have to take it from them. We need to stop whistling past the graveyard and realize the left is seeking total victory. They do not want to compete in a marketplace of ideas. Their goal is to silence dissenting voices."
Anyone naïve enough to believe social media is only concerned with Alex Jones must also believe that Mueller is only interested in Manfort's tax returns from years ago before he even met Trump.
There is a coordinated effort to censor anything but Democrat Party propaganda because it is "hate speech" and to prosecute and destroy anyone associated with President Trump.
They are being done at the direction of the same people.
This is why you must defend free speech, even for those you despise.
It is time for retaliation.
It’s all about Social Media. Until some genius Right-Leaning tech guys come up with platforms that aren’t Left-Leaning, we can expect more.
Yup.
Alex Jones was their nose under the tent because they knew virtually no one would defend him.
Once the principle is accepted that they can do this though there will be no end to it.
This is why you must defend free speech, even for those you despise.

That’s right.
When is everyone going to realize that it’s silly to expect to use liberal-run platforms like Google, Twitter, Facebook, etc to present conservative messsages? The only remarkable thing is that they haven’t squelched them long before now.
For those who think they should be FORCED to provide an equal opportunity platform, please explain how this squares with conservative principles of free markets and limited government interference in private business.
Don’t like those choices? The alternative is obvious: start your own conservative platform.
A conservative platform where liberal views are not welcome...isn’t that what we have here at FR? Start a new one or do without...just spare us your outrage when the liberals kick you off theirs.
The Left Wont Stop At Alex Jones. The Slippery Slope Is Real, And THEY ARE ON IT.
JUST WATCH.
First they came for Alex Jones...
Lucy and Ricky slept in twin beds, too, which was even before the Dick Van Dyke show.....or am I dating myself. ;-)
Alex Jones has said and will most likely again say some real crazy stuff. This makes me and many others skeptical of what else he says. If I were a left strategist I would leave people like this alone. It diminishes the validity of conservatives in general to the public at large.
Ron Wyden calls for ‘consequences’ when ‘bad actor’ content isn’t removed from social media
What Im gonna be trying to do in my legislation is to really lay out what the consequences are when somebody who is a bad actor, somebody who really doesnt meet the decency principles that reflect our values, if that bad actor blows by the bounds of common decency, I think you gotta have a way to make sure that stuff is taken down,” he said.
You’re right. To quote someone: “These people are stupid”.
Take a Civil War Chess set to a Leftist gathering and copy an historical epic game move by move ... so the South wins.
I understand.
