The only way they can be sure is to poll like they did for Bill Clinton-- two polls. Do you approve of him personally? Do you approve of the job he is doing as president?
Fox has always had terrible polling. I'm not saying that because I disagree with the numbers...they just have. They were one of the worst in 2016.

If there ever was a time when people are going to be dishonest with pollsters, it is now. People are afraid of letting others know how they will vote or what they think or feel. The polling business may be as fake as the news.
