I do well understand political realities. I also understand you don’t win by moving in the wrong direction. Replacing Flake with a Conservative is the prescription, not with another damnable RINO.
As for your joke, following it up with an apology in that thread was the only classy and appropriate reply. Blaming booze is no excuse. My paternal ancestry is from Wisconsin, and I’d never think of making such a vile comment about its residents.
