While I hope he’s not done anything wrong, I don’t believe that is the case. As he has already paid back $65,000 since the investigation started and there’s still an outstanding $25,000 it seems he’s not been monitoring the Campaign funds. It’s on his Campaign credit card, for Pete’s sake. It’s not like a couple of hundred Campaign staffers would have those cards. Sheesh. I don’t fault the Democrats for going after him and going after him so quickly. I fault he and his wife for giving the Democrats the cause and ability to go after him. Yes, I am extremely angry the other side’s getting away with IRS abuse, Assaults, Monetary Fraud and so forth; doesn’t mean our side should partake in those actions.

“There was wrong campaign spending, but it was not done by me,” Hunter told a San Diego television station, earlier this year.

“His comments have cast blame on his wife and former campaign manager, Margaret Hunter, who also made charges on the campaign credit card.”

Looks like Rep. Hunter has been a man and taken responsibility.
