Not in Iowa it won’t. It will be front and center during the next several election cycles. Iowa isn’t like most other states. Murders in small town Iowa are not common.
I was there last week for the Iowa state fair, and heard her disappearance discussed daily during the week I was there. Prayers, and sadness.
Everyone knew the worst was likely, but everyone was hoping and praying.
I feel sick for the LEGAL Mexicans that live in Iowa, who will now feel the collective cold shoulder in a very warm-hearted state.
