I truly believe that they thought they would hold office (the demoncrats) for a very long time and they could continue to operate as they had been.
My memory is only a ghost of its former self but didn’t the Serpent Headed one make some prediction that the democrats would be in office for fifty years straight or something like that? I haven’t heard anything from him lately.
