I agree. It seems to me the matter of controlling security clearances is extremely important. I suspect half the intel community of China and Russia have been able to obtain a US clearance under their own name or with a phony name.
Now is the right time to clean up the entire program. Have everyone in need of a clearance reapply and undergo the appropriate background investigation. But if the need is not there, do not reapply and do not grant it.

It seems obvious to me that these perps, along with a few more, form a conspiracy to overthrow the government. It is is a serious offense punishable by life imprisonment, or if treason is involved, death.
