A more than 8-feet-tall Baphomet statue was unveiled.
Following the installation of the Ten Commandments monument, the Satanic Temple filed a lawsuit to have its statue placed on the same grounds in the name of religious pluralism and the First Amendment. During the 2017 legislative session, the Satanic Temple sent a letter to Arkansas legislators asking for lawmakers to sponsor a bill that would allow a Baphomet statue on Capitol grounds, but not one lawmaker responded.

Sorry Skippy, but I will not allow the dimwitted or the insane, malice or ignorance to determine for me what devil worship or other politically insane words or symbols, rainbows, unicorns and whatever I need to remain current with.
Just NO.
It's that simple.

Hey Idiot—we were discussing the difference between the Satanic symbol and the American Sign Language for “I Love You”.
So you had better get your head out of you know where before you spout off. Then you can Skip off with some intelligence of what you’re talking about.
I don’t know. That’s one of the few times I’ve seen it and I’m not going to look it up.
My son lives there. He’s an open-carrier.
You’re preaching to the Choir.
When visiting I too carried. I ignore signs.
But the signs are everywhere ! And you need a special permit to walk the campus of Fayetteville ? oops.
don’t have that.
Reject the notion as much as you wish but heed my warning: That place is exactly like Connecticut just before they elected Malloy. It’s a slippery slope.
As usual the media did not report the story correctly.
Last year the legislature put up the 10 Commandments on the state capital property.
So you had other organizations wanting to put up things there also.
Then the Satanists get into the act and want their monument put up. Yesterday the circus came to town bringing that monstrosity. They had a rally at the state capital, then took the statue of Satan and left town.
That statue was not put up on any grounds in this state. It was rally for attention and it was a bust.
Fayetteville is a college town... With all that goes with it.
Harrison, nearby, is semi-notorious for survivalist groups and underground militia. Widely considered to be the most “white” city in the state.
I guess we’ll see...
You mean like this from 2016 in NYC? The "triumphal arch from the Palmyra temple of baal".
Well, couldn’t the Ten Commandments represent Republicans? And the satan statue represent democrats?
Wouldn’t that be fair?
WTH??
What the hell is NWA?
What school does one need to attend to learn your version of English?
Did you mean NW AR?
Good grief!
The statue is a chunk, probably hollow, of brass. it cannot bless or curse, cannot walk around or even speak. It should be mocked for what it is a chunk of brass that so-called satanists will grovel before. Too bad they cannot properly worship it as kissing the Devil’s ass was the beginning of worship. It is sitting so they can’t.
It will eventually go the way of the Nehushtan, “that piece of brass”.
Yes, it would.
I can note no such thing, because it's irrelevant as well as visually impossible.
Such silly diversions never help.
I can only conclude that you must be a devil-worshiping troll.

What disturbs me most in the "fake News" aspect of this entire thread. What is omitted is often more misleading than outright lies.
Who commissioned the satanic statue? Name and location?
What warped excuse for an artist actually created it? Name and location?
Maybe your name should be La Basura, but before I say seeya!, I should add...
What makes you believe I give a rat sass about your grasp of intelligence?
“That statue was not put up on any grounds in this state. It was a rally for attention and it was a bust.”
Sir, you have showcased the meaning of “fake news” to a T.
This entire thread finally makes sense. Well done!

I spoke with a man who was living in Arkansas from Illinois.he mentioned Harrison.
I did what he asked me to do while in Harrison and he was right!
