Tebow always reminded me of Ed Podolak. It seems to me he could have filled that type of role. Unfortunately the NFL doesn’t have the imagination it used to have.

My understanding is that Tebow wasn't willing to play running back or tight end. He was a QB and wanted to play that position. Even if he had been open to changing, he would be competing against players who had been running backs or tight ends for years. Hard to beat them out.

Podolak was a running Iowa QB, he did it. Different NFL then so probably wouldn’t work now.
