Well, yes, in over 60 years of life here in the middle if the USA, I find that to be true also, BUT, it is still necessary to watch out carefully for the rather significant minority of humans who are not so nice.

For most of us this is somewhat like being a 4" bluegill in an average pond: maybe 80% of the rest of the fish in that pond are not a threat (especially if you stay clear of spawning beds and such.) But, that other 20 %...

THESE fools, however, decided they'd be little bluegills and go visit a lake full of gar...
