It's pretty clear that POTUS is not in control of DOJ. Rosenstein, and whoever controls him behind the curtain, have shut the administration out. It's stunning that he has been unable to rein them in, but until he kicks in the door, he is effectively locked out.
And that is a very, very dangerous thing. And unfortunate. Jeff Sessions needs to go NOW. Not later. NOW. If Trump is indeed playing "4D chess" as some fantasize, he might want to play his checkmate move like, right now.
