Exactly right. New York was a GREAT state when I grew up there. Now nearly every person I know from NY either wants to leave or is glad they did.

American Locomotive Company and General Electric turbines and motors..
It was the unions that kill them in Schenectady...
plus GE management never cracked down on the unions...
We did a construction job there and had to connect a streamline..there were five guys with one doing the welding and it was on a Sunday..
