I was wondering about that. Nonetheless, these corrupt blackrobes simply handed the hanging rope to their political opponents.
As well-connected lawyers coming up through the state system, I suspect they learned their corrupt ways long before appointment to the supreme court.
Four down; hundreds more to be impeached... and convicted.
In addition to these overly extravagant expenditures, just consider the opportunity cost for all the work NOT GETTING DONE for taxpayers because their entire judiciary and state legislature is now wasting time on all this crap.... actually it reminds me of the US DOJ in microcosm.
The best part is that by resigning on 8/13/18, Davis is eligible to appear on the ballot in Nov. to re-take her seat.
How I wish we’d see judges impeached over things like letting accused child torturers free etc like just in New Mexico. We should have impeached the roe v wade judges etc
