Where were all these freaks when I was a kid? I only knew (or knew of) about a half dozen queers in my school years. Was it just that shame was still attached to inappropriate behavior, so they kept it out of our faces?
Well, there were always tomboys and sissies, but like others have said, most of them grew out of it. Now they are encouraged to call themselves “transgender”, start taking hormones, and probably mess their heads up permanently.
