In my experience (which is by no means extensive), some women like beards, and some women hate them. Some women like bodybuilders. Some women don’t like them. As a guy, trying to figure out what women like is an exercise in futility. It can change so much such that trying to ‘pin it down’ is like trying to nail jello to the wall.

Thus, you should just do what you like and let the chips fall where they may.

I remember in high school (around 1971) one of the “semi-fast” girls was in a chair next to me in the school library and she comes across a picture of a body builder in a magazine she’s reading. She nudges the girl sitting on the other side of her and says, with digust, “Can you imagine THAT on top of you!”

So yeah, you’re right.
