It’s impossible for a white person to avoid saying “racially insensitive” things, because the definition of “insensitive” is in the hands of people who are determined to be offensive. Even saying nothing to a person of a politically-favored race or ethnicity can be “insensitive.” Looking at one can be “insensitive.” Not looking at one can be “insensitive.” And on and on.
