Since the whole “GoFundMe” phenomenon started somewhat recently, the last few years as far as I can recollect, what if any established laws or regulations exist to cover how the accumulated funds (and the beneficiaries) are taxed? I’m honestly not sure and don’t anticipate ever having to worry about such personally. But if I was Strzok I’d be looking over my shoulder for the IRS man (current ultimate boss one Donald J. Trump) as these sums gather in an account bearing my name, and certainly before spending one dime out of them.
