IMO this writer is confusing battles with the larger war. Trump is busy rolling back Obama’s “victories” - and the big problem liberals have is their ideas are doomed to failure upon implementation.
He is right. I dread what the future holds, though I do not shrink from it.
We have no platforms left to organize on. We are so self-sufficient and independent we build no coalitions, we form no cohesive bulwark against the hive mind left.
It’s a war of attrition we will only begin fighting when it’s too late. It may already be.
All I can do is instill morality and conservative values in my family and reach out to like-minded families to build a support network for the the coming storm.
It won’t be enough, but we won’t conform. They’ll have to kill us.

And he nailed me. I moved out of Seattle to a small “hobby farm” in rural KY to avoid all this nonsense.
But it is different this time in one way: Because the conservative ideas are, quite literally, both better and easier to defend with simple logic, technology is on their side with the internet. They are crushing the left there. And it matters.

Gallop and Rasmussen polls previously had liberals at 20%, conservatives at 40%and the rest undecided. A later pole had it at 24%, 37% and the rest undecided. It seems that anyone can come up any conclusion they want and say they are right on social media.
Underestimating, mocking and attacking the great silent majority is a fatal mistake.

If conservatism was the popular thing, liberalism wouldn’t be the broad road that leads to destruction. It’s not a bad thing to be in the ideological minority, because we know where the world is headed, and it’s not heaven. It doesn’t want to go to heaven. Liberals and those who’ve rejected God’s ways for the self-indulgent ones are transitory. This age will come and go along with all its politically correct alternative lifestyles. There’s no worldly utopia, only spiritual death for those put all their hopes into it. The conservative goal isn’t really to change or even preserve society, but to be a constant reminder of what it should be.
They are sipping too many martinis. As the knives are slipped into their backs, they are still feeling good! They are freaking losers.
The church and the extended church family should be our “coalitions”. There are plenty of them outside of the big cities, and there are a few within the cities, but you have to be a little bit stronger in the gut to hang with them. They get all the grief from the locals who hate them.
