Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday said that Turkey would boycott electronic products from the United States.
"We will boycott America's electronic products. If they have the iPhone, there is also Samsung on the other side. We also have our own Venus Vestel. We will adopt these measures," Hurriyet Daily News quoted Erdogan as saying.

My understanding is that iPhones are already incredibly expensive in Turkey. I read somewhere that it would be cheaper to book a round trip ticket to NY to buy one than to buy in Turkey.

I was in Turkey in 1982. Somewhere along the line, I figured we would be enemies with those ass hats 🎩 I thought Turks were some of the most disagreeable people I ever met. I still do.

We need to pull out of Incilrik and wherever else we have a base(s) . We don’t need them anymore anyway . Leave the Turks to simmer in their own juices .

If somebody goes berzerk in a Turkish schoolyard, Turkish leftards will blame the manufacturer and demand that it be banned. They do have leftards, don’t they?
