I’ve spent most of my adult life producing theater in New York City. In that time, on more occasions than I care to remember, only 20 people showed up in the audience when I’d hoped for hundreds. I thought of that with a smile yesterday watching the maybe two dozen sad white nationalists hold their “rally” in Washington. I know how bad that feels, the Public Address system and stage you paid for mocking you.
Jason Kessler and his gang more than deserved it, but you can see why they assumed they were going to sell out. The going narrative in our newspapers and cable news shows is that the Trump presidency has emboldened white supremacists, that they are no longer ashamed. After all, the president is winking at them. There were probably 20 journalists for every white nationalist at yesterday’s event precisely because the news media was testing its hypothesis.

Kessler the organizer of the so called white supremacist rally was a long time Democrat Party operative. He was involved in the occupy movement. He was a vocal Obama supporter and liberal Democrat. All of a sudden Kessler and a few others pretended to change into white supremacists. Kessler was behind the Charlottesville rally. He was a public and convenient target for the media and the left.
The people who marched in opposition were also Soros funded, Democrat Party leftists.
The media tried to stage this fake confrontation as a major political event with enormous coverage.
Twenty people showed up with Kessler. There were dozens of reporters for every so called white nationalist. The reporters put the entire resources of the media into hyping the event.
Does anyone still doubt they are fake news?
I wouldn’t be surprised if those 20 “white nationalists” turned out to be Democrat operatives as well.
Our shameful mainstream media is now merely about manufacturing news, pushing highly biased narratives, and manipulating public opinion.
The problem was, the first rally, nobody knew who Kessler was or what his game was. A lot of more mainstream people and groups got suckered into thinking this was just a right wing, or even “alt right” of the more conventional variety rally.
They didn’t know Kessler invited a bunch of racists too in order to let the media lump everyone together under that banner.
Now, he’s been exposed and nobody is going to fall for the same trick again.

So 20 former Obama staff/campaign members showed up with their newly bought khaki pants, white tee shirts, tiki torches and newly still creased DAZI flag and the only people who believed this staged event was real were the media idiots?

That and they thought it was about preserving the confederate statues instead of destroying them.
That and FBI moles.
Wonder how many of the 20 were FBI agents and/or agents provocateur?
Maybe a third, a third were also from the media, that leaves the final third on Soros payroll.
But the news media has questions to answer too, and they aren’t easy ones. The drastic decline in attendance for Unite the Right this year is unambiguously good, but there is still good reason to feel uneasy. How should this be covered? At the very least, honestly.
This guy is deluded if he thinks the current media would do that.
Well, no. The underlying assumption there is that the media were not actors in this and that is false. It was not any hypothesis that went wrong here, it was a campaign.
What went wrong was the premise that any appreciable fraction of Trump's supporters could be described as White Supremacists or are motivated by race hatred. It's a propaganda point that inoculates the media from the counter-accusation of racism, a racism that is both real and virulent and may not be defined out of existence by the glib dismissal that protected classes may not be considered bigots. One notes that journalists consider themselves a protected class first and foremost, inherently blameless and untouchable. They may criticize the attendants of such a rally, or more properly Trump supports as a whole, on any grounds they care to invent, and no one may criticize the criticism. It's not going to work like that.
Kessler is a Soros plant.
The whole Charlottesville event was staged to advance a narrative.
I could have saved them the trouble.
Every once in awhile people in one of our surrounding counties get all hot and bothered over a “KKK Rally” planned for their county courthouse.
Never was it more than five guys with green teeth handing out leaflets.
I frankly think that today’s “white supremacist” movement is made up of 0.03% of the white population that’s mentally defective, plus a whole lot of crisis actors.

No it’s not. The President has never mentioned the race of the athletes protesting. He’s obsessed with the failure of the NFL (all white) to take a stand for the flag and the anthem. He correctly IMHO never distinguishes between different kinds of racism and terrorism, instead condemning all racism and terrorism whenever it comes up.
It’s only the Left that sees some kinds of racism and terrorism as more morally repugnant than others, and then calls you a racist if you don’t go along with it. Donald Trump rejects that, as well he should.
As early as the Pulitzer Prize winning Norman Mailer nonfiction book The Armies of the Night he talked about the FBI and CIA plants. One guy “looked wrong” to Mailer and the guy tried to pick a fistfight with him but Mailer retreated and found out it was a setup to put him in jail.
That was used as a ploy in Can’t Be Satisfied: The Life of Muddy Waters where jailed laborers were procured for the southern plantation owners by having phony drunk bar fighters challenge the pride of a victim, then both arrested, then the plant let go to do that again somewhere but the patsy did free labor for his sentence.
Now hard charging “white nationalists” somehow appear and get the phony narrative out for the corrupt media to propagandize.
What a country.

In the past fifty years ago, you had one nazi wannabe, and twenty fake nazis, all FBI informers.

Loving America and respecting our flag is not racist. It has nothing to do with race. President Trump is the only public figure to call out those who attack out country and disrespect our flag.
President Trump should say nothing regarding the Democrat operatives who pretend to be white nationalists.
They are trying to get attention. He should give them none. Anything he would possibly say would be twisted by the media to make him look bad.
I have traveled and worked across 49 of our “57 states”. Including a hell of a lot of time in the south and the deep deep south. I have never in my life met a white supremicist. I have met people who don’t like black people, sometimes because of horrific experiences, and sometimes just because they always have. The people in the second category are mostly older and are literally dying out. These days especially for people under 50 people who truly hate black people are basically nonexistent and would be the biggest social pariah in human history, and is an almost totally foreign concept, the worst I see are people that are leery of black people they do not know but easily become the best of freinds once they know them, or very leery of groups of young black men with a visible ghetto attitude. And so what? When did it become the largest crime against the planet to dislike or distrust “others”. I do not even believe that these supremecist groups even really exist with real people, and I damn well am sure they are not full of conservatives. But if you were to believe these people there are nazis around every corner, millions and millions of people everywhere that not only distrust blacks, but want to kill them all in the most horrific ways. Are we really to believe that since the 60s race relations have not improved at all, but have deteriorated far past the peak of the KKK and jim crow. The idea is absurd.
Believe me, I see too many White Trash idiots around town, exhibiting all of the same ghetto behaviors and attitudes, to have any thoughts that my European DNA is somehow superior.
