I tend to think this was manslaughter. Maybe premeditated murder. The guy verbally, maybe physically assaults people over their parking, then, when pushed back, pulls a gun and kills someone. I don’t like it and think it wrong. Every time I’ve seen this come up in the news and read a few articles about it, the more I am happy he is charged with murder. I think he was just waiting for the opportunity to shoot someone and a misuse of stand-your-ground.
what about the person that actually assaulted someone??? you don’t even mention him? ridiculous that you run with rumor and innuendo for what you stand on (ie he maybe, possibly, could have said something in the past to people about handicapped parking). OR....you could actually point to the person we see on VIDEO assault someone without cause.
the guy that assaulted asked for what he got.
I agree, I think it was manslaughter. However the shooter should have a trial to determine if he committed manslaughter. The sheriff was wrong in not initially charging the shooter. The shooter was pushed down but he didn’t charge the shooter after pushing him.
You could be right, you could be wrong, but either way, being a pain in the rear is not a crime. By contrast, if some huge dude 40 years younger is tempted to heave a scrawny old guy onto the pavement over in a verbal disagreement--and then stick around for more--well, that was a crime that put the old guy in reasonable fear for his life.
I'll pray for Jumbo's soul, but he took the Darwin test and failed.
Reports say he pulled this more often than once. Ragging on folks for parking in Hand-cap.Not sure about the gun part.
He wont be doing it again
Sometimes two wrongs do make a right.
