So far, I’ve not seen any source listed as to whether or not Strzok will receive any benefits (not that he should); comments here tend to ‘assume’ he may because of 22+ years of service, but being fired should be (IMHO) reason to withhold those bennies.
I remember reading somewhere that he was ‘on loan’ from the CIA as a liaison between CIA/FBI, but I haven’t been able to find that source again. If true, I’ve no idea how that would impact this firing...

There are many, many sites that explain losing a federal pension REQUIRES being CONVICTED of a felony that affects national security.
The same law that covers bureaucrats covers Congress. That ought to be a clue about how difficult it is to lose federal pension benefits.
I definitely see someone unhinged there as the avenues of escape disappear.
