I think the Rovian influence is a thing of the past now. But he came in here , in 2010 , hot off the Bush years , as a featured ,mainland , heavy hitter Repub speaker , at the HRP’s yearly Lincoln dinner . In private meeting held in Honolulu with his fat-assed-ness , he came right out and said these things to trusted rank & file local ,state , Repub leadership . the Tea Party members cannot be trusted , they are not controllable , by the RNC . DON’T Help them !”
HRP was at the time trying to figure out how to co-opt the burgeoning motivated and thriving Tea Party movement ,which was occurring on all islands . I , as founder of one of those TP elements , had informants ( well, ‘friends’...) present at those meetings and they reported to me , verbatim , what Rove said and what was said to him ( by HRP leadership) . In addition to Rove instructing for the Tea Party elements be undermined , because the people that made them up were ‘uncontrollable’ , he also suggested that the mainstream HRP should try and infiltrate the TP ranks and ‘take them over ‘ and in that way absorb them , and their names and reputations , into the mainstream HRP/RNC . These instructions for HRP subversion were followed and in almost all cases the local TP takeovers were successful by the HRP , and the resulting sublimation and eventual dis-empowerment of the TP elements resulted . You don;t hear about local ‘Tea parties’ anymore , do ya ? Ironically ; some of those original TP founders and groups are now a party to the successful federal law suit which has succeeded against the IRS , for it’s collaborative subversion against the TP groups by the Obama admin . TP was getting from from every which way . In those days .

That’s what crap teachers do with lousy students. I remember being in one class in summer school and the teacher announced that’s how she’d grade. I promptly earned 100 on the test she gave and busted the curve (everyone else didn’t remotely come close). After the test, the principal came into the room and announced that I was in the wrong class. Actually, not just the wrong class but wrong grade. I was supposed to be in the 7th makeup, but went to the 8th by accident.

The principal thought I should’ve figured it out when the test should’ve been “way over my head.” The teacher was baffled and said I scored highest and busted the curve. They made faces at one another (as I exposed how lousy their “teaching” and curriculum was) and I got escorted down to the 7th, which was literally teaching at Kindergarten level. An incredible waste of my time and the last time I put up with that.

Yes I don’t agree with, it’s not fair, students should be competing against their own ignorance, not each other.a

I went to something called “Kindercare” against my will at age 3 or 4, they were teaching ABCs and I already knew that sh**, so I checked out and went and played with the babies or something.
