We are lucky down here. There is lots of competition for grouper. Like ten differcnt varieties of snapper, cobia, wahoo,swordfish,even triggerfish,tilefish,we have a huge variety of great eating fish that all rival the grouper here in the fab Fla. Keys.

Yeah, all those are awesome...all marinade and bbq well, blacken, etc. I’d never make it there, though, I’d have to have spf50 on all day. I grew up at the be a h in NC...one of my best experiences was a buddy spearfished a 30 lb grouper...my dad steaked it, kabobed it, blackened it, etc. I ate like 3 lbs of fish that night.
