The main delay is because there is a Senate rule requiring the nominee to meet with every senator for some specified amount of time.

That is absurd. The Democrat socialists in the Senate refuse to meet him!! They don’t want to do their job!! Manchin and one othe DAZI were the only ones to meet!! Time to vote!!

Imagine if the mid-terms go well for the GOP and they pick up 7-8 Senate seats, putting them at 58-59.

Then comes the breaking news in late December that SC Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has passed away (her massive ego causes her to think she will never have to step down from the Court, but sooner or later she will learn that is not true... Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.)

Imagine the anguish of the Left and their media drones, as they realize their favorite SC Justice is about the be replaced by a young, pro-life, pro-Constitutionalist, pro-American woman. And there is nothing they can do to stop it. Won't that be wonderful to behold?!

By EVERY DEFINITION Susan Collins (R-Maine) is a RINO!!!

Yet she is about to give us the vote we need to get Kavenaugh on the Court.

Please think about that. If enough Republicans in Maine sat out her elections out of ‘principle’, there would be a DEMOCRAT in that seat. Does anyone think that the Democrat would vote for our judges? Answer, NO!, not a prayer in Maine (or most other states).

So for all you ‘principled Republicans’, the ONLY REASON that Kavenaugh is sailing to Supreme Court is because enough of the ‘non-principled conservatives’ held their noses and voted for her in Maine.

And also remember, no one is even talking about Flake, McCain, Alexander, Graham, or any other RINO voting against Kavenaugh - the fact is that Republicans, even RINOs, will support Republican judges in nearly every case.

Bottom line, at least for the US SENATE, if you want to get control over the Courts, please HOLD YOUR NOSE and vote Republican, regardless of who’s on the ballot.

I don’t care what you do for the House, make a statement there, if you need to, but if we don’t get the courts back, it’s over, completely...and not just for us, for our kids and grandkids too.

We will not get a good replacement with a Democrat Party Senate. They will just refuse and draw out the confirmation process. Get out and vote and make sure everyone you know and trust to vote Republican votes this election. Two more years with Teump and a Democrat Senate and the judiciary will change significantly.

There was never going to be a problem with Kavanagh being confirmed. And there won’t be a problem with Ruth Buzzy’s either.

I ALWAYS VOTE so I don’t feel the need to remind other Freepers...but I understand your very valid point....

That said....Clarence Thomas was approved by a Democrat Senate even after a concerted effort by the TRAITOR Sen. Ted Kennedy to knock him out!

I wouldn’t count on that again given the state of our cold civil war and the toxicity of the political environs.

And then Ginsburg, Breyer and Sotomayor’s replacements.

Those are going to be MAJOR popcorn events.

Even if you got a republican to defect it won’t matter 5 Or so Dems will vote to confirm as well... there is no path to stop the confirmation...

All their stupidity is political theater nothing more.. they know they can’t stop it and they know he is unquestionably qualified to hold the job.

That’s why we need to vote to keep expand the Republican majority in the Senate.
Half of the entire Democrat caucus in the Senate is up for reelection this year, leaving only an average of 1/4 of of the entire Democrat caucus up for reelection in 2020 and 2022. If the Republicans can’t expand their majority this year, what will happen to it two and four years hence???

I’m not asking for the Senate Republican Class of ’18 to be as strong as the Republican Classes of ’16 and of ’14, which average 22 senators strong. That would give the Republicans about two-thirds of the Senate. All I ask is that the Senate Republican Class of ’18 be equal to the Senate Democrat Class of ’18. That would only be a pickup of about nine seats. Giving the Senate Republican Caucus sixty one votes . . .
