I don’t even think the Kristol types “don’t want to pay taxes”. I think they’d have been 100% fine as Democrats except that during the period spanning from the late 1970’s until Trump, the Republicans were more willing to go along with their fantasies of world domination than the Democrats. They don’t care about anything else.
I’ve always thought Kristol was The Mother of All Wimps. Never have liked that guy.

Um no. Levin was a "Never Hillaryer".
He has said many times on his show "If I had a choice between voting for Hillary or an orange juice can, I would vote for the can".
A "Never Trumper" is someone like Bill Kristol who would vote for Hillary rather than Trump, unlike Levin who did vote for Trump.
