So...how many arguing in favor of Roundup would spray it on their lawns and then let their kids play on it?
Yeah.
Thought so.
Well, if I spray Roundup on my lawn, after a week or so the kids will only have dead grass to play on, so, no, I would not do that.
When I do use it (as previously described) I follow the label instructions. I’m not paranoid, but I do have a healthy respect...

Your comment couldn’t be a better illustration of how little you know of RoundUp.
If you sprayed your lawn with it, the entire lawn would be dead in about a week. So, no, I definitely wouldn’t spray my lawn before the kids played on it. But not because I was concerned about the kids. I just want to enjoy my lawn (and my kids) for a long time.
Sal, many, many FReepers probably do exactly that. Even here in dead lawn CA, every self respecting illegal gardener is spraying that crap on whatever lawn their homeowners wish to pay for. I had to beg our gardeners not to spray it. (And he is not illegal but his dad, whom he took over from, was). I figure every lawn is covered with it.
Interesting, though. When you dont spray, you get the most amazing plants coming up, like purslane, which when chewed daily (and its yummy) reverses the beginnings of oral cancer. Im not joking. Its been in a medical study as effective as the oral steroid wash commonly used.
