Fowlkes’ lawyer, Stephen LaMagna, claimed Holmes was having an affair with NYPD Detective Robert Santos, and that she is now lying “to make herself look better.”
LaMagna said Holmes told her husband on Monday morning she was going to work, but instead went to Santos’ home.
“It doesn’t look good that one of [NYPD’s] inspectors is having an affair with one of their detectives,” he said.
