Nixon. He got 30% in 1960. He never broke over 15% Black support in his other Presidential elections.
Interesting on Nixon, but 1960, just coming out of the 50s, this country was different. In the last 20 years, it was never that high.
Prior to FDR, blacks were almost all Republican.
