Just in case anyone is under the delusion that the market will produce conservative outlets, the Left will go after domain name registrars. That’s how far up the chain this will go. The threat will be to banish all dissent to the dark web, but it won’t come to that. Fear not, they will allow a nice, safe, controlled opposition to exist online.

(1) We need to realize the battle of truth vs. lies is a celestial scale battle. This scarcely began with modern media. It began with Satan’s bullshit artistry (to use a crude term) before God.

(2) God WILL win in the end, but appropriating the victory at a particular time and place is a matter of the choice and determination we give ourselves to. The bible advises “Run as so to win.” This exhortation wouldn’t be given if it were never possible that people at a particular time and place could either fail to run, or run so as to lose.

(3) Those who want the truth may be small and few, but their influence can be greatly outsize to their number. Cf. a number of divine victories outlined in the bible, which didn’t depend on numbers but on depth of faith in which action was taken.

(4) We sometimes conflate conservatism with Christianity and that’s not entirely true. Our modern left has been stolen by Satan, and that’s why it both goes profligate and jeers at conservative concerns. But the bible makes no bones about it: “Visit the widow and orphan in their distress.” God even punished certain generations of Hebrews for violating this. So bible categories don’t entirely match with modern political categories.
