I wont tell you exactly where but I see housing projects from the window and its in one of the poorest areas in the city. I moved here as a dead broke refugee and have been connecting with, teaching and helping the community since times when gentrification was not even imaginable.
I’ve been robbed by crack addicts who I befriended and tried to help. I’ve also been beaten and abused by bully cops for “being a smartass” and knowing my rights.
In our advanced society, there are plenty ways to punish petit criminals without violence. Many jurisdictions have acknowledged that dangerous police chases are worse than letting a small criminal go. These arent the middle ages anymore...
Oh, okay, I wasn't asking for the school you supposedly teach in's address. All I asked was the borough, which in and of itself doesn't give away anything at all.
The more you post, the more lefty/terminally bleeding hearted and anti-cop you prove yourself to be.
I take it that you are also vehemently against the "BROKEN WINDOW" policy, that worked so very well, but which that POS STINKING RED DIAPER BABY, de Blasio has shredded/done away with. It's just oh SO much "better" to ignore subway style jumpers, ignore those urinating and defecating on the streets, those ILLEGALLY selling bad knockoffs of designer stuff and/or pirated CDS on the streets, even IF they drive off tourists and natives, on Fifth, Lexington, and Madison, or around lower Manhattan near the 9/11 sites, in your world. And as far as those shooting up, smoking whatever in and around where children play or live don't "hurt" anyone but themselves! Right?
How DARE the police ever even attempting to enforce the laws; after all, who are these low level criminals "hurting"? Yes, I see...and so does everyone else here, just what you are.
